We launched The Fix in October 2019 with a few goals in mind:

  • cover news media specifically in Europe, focusing on underrepresented markets – rather than limiting ourselves to the already-well-covered US market;
  • be a trade publication for media professionals, bringing value both to leaders both in newsrooms and in other walks of the media industry;
  • report on solutions and offer practical insights – rather than just pontificating about the problems facing the industry.

The next five years have not been easy – Europe had barely emerged from the global pandemic only to face Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine. But our raison d’être hasn’t changed, and we are grateful to have a large and growing community of thousands media leaders across the continent.
